Our advisors are available weekdays from 9am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5pm to assist you with Centrelink issues. Call (08) 8223 1338. Country callers can ring toll free on 1800 246 287.
Please be patient as we get a lot of calls. If you are unable to wait, you can leave a message for us and we will get back to you by email or phone at a convenient time. You can also take the time to read up on your issue in our handy fact sheets.
The South Australian Welfare Rights Centre is completely independent of Centrelink and other government departments. Anything you tell us will be held in strict confidence. We will not share any of the information you provide without receiving your approval.
You can help us help you by:
- having all of your relevant documents handy by the phone (for example Authorised Review Officer letters).
- having your customer reference number (CRN) handy
- having any notes you have made about conversations you have had with Centrelink staff including who you spoke to, when you spoke and what you were told
- being patient with our staff while we try to understand your issues
We live for your feedback! Please let us know how we have done, good and bad, on our Feedback page.
